Two Factor Authentication for Email Administrators
Thursday, October 31, 2019
In early 2019 the Email Administrators Control Panel introduced an improved Multi-Factor Authentication experience. It’s easier than ever to set up MFA on your and your administrator login and doing so will greatly reduce the chance of compromise. If you do not want to enter a code on every login, you can remember your device, and you won't even know the extra layer of protection is there. We take protecting our platform and your email accounts very seriously.
Thexyz will start requiring a form of MFA in the first quarter of 2020. If you do not want to use SMS, we have a TOTP option. We recommend Authy, a free authenticator that you can use from any device, including your desktop, laptop, or mobile phone. You can also use it across multiple devices for the same account. For help enabling 2FA and MFA to secure your logins, please see our guide on enabling two-factor authentication.
