email signature showing as attachment

When we send email our signatures are going through as attachments, not embedded. Is there a way to fix this?

    Hi Ed!

    Thank you for your post! I'd be happy to answer your question.

    In Thexyz Webmail, this is not always possible, as they will still show as attachment in some email clients like Mac Mail. I'm sorry! I find the best way to ensure it does not send as attachment is when composing an email in Webmail, click the "Enable Formatting" link. It is also advisable to create a html signature in webmail as instructed below.

    However, if you use an Outlook client on your computer, you can add a photo to your signature and it will not attach that image to the email when sent.

    In Outlook you need to add a html signature and host your image somewhere online. You would then add something like this:

    <img src=”http://www.example.com/uploads/logo.png” width=”300″ height=”170″ alt=”Email Signature” />

    Thanks,

    Perry

  • Don't put a logo in your signature. Read the following: If you do this in an email, I hate you
