Undo External Mailbox Import Into Webmail

edited March 2014 in Email
I just added another account as external account. It has delivered 1000's of emails to my inbox. Can I undo this?

  • Did you do some sort of migration using the migration wizard? Did you have some sort of forwarding set-up? If you have your account set-up in outlook, there are some like anti-dupe tools you can use to get rid of duplicates messages.
  • I have it setup on mac mail though <!-- s:cry: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cry.gif" alt=":cry:" title="Crying or Very Sad" /><!-- s:cry: -->
  • there isn't a mac available for this - there is something you can do, if you wanted to do this. You can delete the mailbox and then run a restore in your control panel from the time before you had the mail in your mailbox. It will restore the mail to that point in time.
  • What point of time?
  • You have 14 days if you run the restore. We take snapshots of the mailbox nightly and you can back up the data depending on what was on the server at the time of the snapshot.

    Ok thanks man.
  • Just wanted to point out that both these features are no longer supported.
